This waterfront vacation rental offers a dream setting, and you will be in Saint-Gilles-les-Bains downtown in 3 minutes by walking. Smoothly rocked by the music of the waves, you will enjoy the terrace with a panoramic view on the Indian ocean with the boats and the whales. This renovated old house has a lot of character with its bamboo panels and its lambrequins.

Wonderful vacation rental in Reunion Island with 3 lovely bedrooms, the waterfront Bamboo house offers you a wonderful setting with its nice terrace with panoramic ocean view. Smoothly rocked by the music of the waves, you will enjoy the boats sailing at sunset and the whales during the season.

This vacation rental is comprised of a house of 90 sqm including 30 sqm of terrace, and a bungalow located few meters higher on the property (access by stairs). There is a terrace in front of the bungalow with breathtaking ocean view.

There is a barbecue for your meals in front of the Indian Ocean.

You can easily park two cars in front of the property, which is at the end of a deadlock.

On one level, the house has a living room / dining room (TV and free internet access – wifi), opened onto the terrace outside and its wonderful ocean view.

This vacation rental with a refined decoration, has 2 air-conditioned bedrooms (with queen size beds), 2 bathrooms and 1 toilet.

There is a kitchen which is fully equipped (fridge, freezer, oven, microwave oven, coffee machine, cooking hobs, toaster, kettle).

The bungalow has its own terrace, a bedroom with a fan (with double bed) and a bathroom with toilet.

There is a washing machine at the back of the house.

Linen provided: bed sheets, bath towels, bathmats and kitchen towels

Garden maintenance

This house is at Saint-Gilles-les-Bains, the coastal resort of Reunion Island, in a quiet residential neighborhood. You will enjoy the Esplanade des Roches Noires (3 minutes by walk), a nice place with many restaurants and bars in front of the Indian ocean and the marina.

There is a beach in Saint-Gilles-les-Bains with a bathing area protected with nets.

The main street of Saint-Gilles (with the famous bakery “Chez Loulou”) and its shops is 3 minutes by walk. Children will enjoy the aquarium and the marina (7 minutes by walk from the house). You can book a safari cruise to meet dolphins, humpback whales (in season), turtles… or enjoy a big game fishing trip or a dive to discover multicolored fishes.

For your holidays in Reunion Island, you will be delighted by this setting. Saint-Gilles-les-bains is the coastal resort on west coast, an area blessed by a micro-climate with more than 300 sunny days a year. You will enjoy the warm waters of the lagoon and water activities with easily access to all excursions on the island (three cirques - Mafate, Cilaos, Salazie - the volcano – waterfalls).

Events and parties are strictly forbidden.

It is strictly forbidden to smoke inside the villa.

Pets are not allowed.

7 nights minimum stay.

To book, a booking deposit of 25% is required. The balance payment is due 30 days before your arrival.
If there are less than thirty (30) days before the beginning of your stay, the entire rental rate is due at the booking reservation.

A security deposit of 1500 euros will be required upon arrival (imprint of credit card).

A rental lease agreement will document all these information.

Check-in time: 3 PM – 7 PM.
Check-out time: 8 AM – 11 AM.
Please note that check-in time and check-out time may be different if the premise is not rented before and/or after and with our agreement.

In case of late arrival (after 7 PM) or early departure (before 8 AM), please let us know (we will charge 50 € at your arrival to find someone to welcome you).

    One week was just too short. We loved Reunion Island and in particular the accommodation we stayed at. It was clean, situated in a quiet and calm spot in my favourite part of the island, Saint Gilles. It was very accessible and the setting couldn't be better. What a view! Thank you to our host for your hospitality. We'll be back!
