Our traditional stone made house is located in a lovely Britton hamlet on the shore of the “petite mer de Gâvres” (Gâvres little sea), with its beach within 100m away. The closed garden allows relaxing. Quiet environment is ensured !
Besides its marvellous sunset all year long, the “little sea” is well known for its biodiversity, shell fishing at low tide, its ornithological site and a kite surfing spot.
The ocean is less than one km away (2 km by road), allowing long ramble along the white sand beach stretching over 10km (from Gâvres to Etel river) and bordered with dunes. Good swimming and others nautical activities (surf, etc) are possible.
Plouhinec, the village, is 2 km away from the house. It offers all facilities (www. plouhinec.com) including a supermarket which is open every day, from Monday morning to Sunday midday. The area “entre bois et mer” (between forest and sea) offers rich natural heritage to be discovered through hiking, cycling or horse riding.
Strong Britton culture and traditions are present in the area and can be enjoyed every day : markets, creperies, fest-noz, festivals, beyond them the famous interceltic festival of Lorient at the begining of August (www. festival-interceltique.com).
Regarding historitical background, Port-Louis is worth a visit with its citadel overlooking the entrance to Lorient harbour and its museum dedicated to the former Compagnie des Indes (www.musee-lorient.fr).
The house is ideally located for close visits in the Lorient area (l’Armor – the shore -, but also l’Argoat – the charming inland) as well as further visits to the Golfe du Morbihan (an internal sea with lovely islands), Carnac megaliths alignment, Quiberon peninsula, Concarneau, etc.
Similarly, Belle Ile en Mer island can be easily reached, as well as the island Groix whose lighthouse can be seen from the house at night.
Hence, our house will allow you a true experience in the beautiful South Brittany.

Right to retract

In accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Code, the holidaymaker does not have the right of withdrawal on his seasonal rental contract concluded at a distance. It can, however, benefit from cancellation conditions set by the owner.

Applicable Civil Code Rules

The contractual relationship between the owner and the holidaymaker is governed by articles 1100 and following of the Civil Code governing the law of obligations and civil liability.
