Rochefort-en-Terre is a member of the Association of the Most Beautiful Villages of France and the Association of Small Cities of Character Britain.

Our cottage is located inside the park of our property, adjoining the Castle of Rochefort. Quiet and surrounded by nature, yet you are only 200 m from the center of the village.

In winter, enjoy the evenings by the fireplace (wood graciously provided by the owners). In summer, enjoy the private garden, sunny and private, where you can dine or enjoy the sun freely.

Close (4 km) is the Malansac Prehistoric Park, located on the beautiful site of the former slate quarries of Guenfol.

At 20 km, you can discover the Branféré Animal Park, where is located the Nicolas Hulot School for Nature and Man.

The Gulf of Morbihan is just half an hour by car. You can visit the old town of Vannes, and discover the Gulf Islands, including the island Moines or Ile d'Arz.

Other points of interest : Josselin, with its magnificent castle and La Gacilly, which takes place every summer a very interesting festival of outdoor photos.

For walkers, beautiful walks are possible along the canal from Nantes to Brest and in all surroundings.

The sea is not far away: the small seaside resort of Damgan, 30 km away, offers several beautiful beaches monitored. Ideal with children.

If you want tranquillity and freedom, you will love the beaches of the peninsula Rhuys (Suscinio and its castle, Landrezac, Kerver), which provides large areas, even in high season.

    Très jolie location, rien ne manquait, nombreux rangements pour chacun. Nous avons apprécié la terrasse où nous prenions les repas du midi car aucun vis à vis. Calme tout en étant à l'entrée du village que nous faisons très souvent, rien que pour aller chez le boulanger. Les autres commerces sont à 10 mn en voiture. Propriétaires très discrets et un petit merci pour le pain d’épices et jus d'orange pour notre bienvenue. Ce village est vraiment joli comme d'autres à proximité.

    Un logement tres confortable, agreablement decore, bien equipe. La localisation ne pourrait etre mieux: a l'entree du centre du village et ses commerces, a cote de sentiers de randonnees locales, et pourtant au calme dans l'enceinte du parc. Nous y avons passe une belle semaine avec nos 3 jeunes enfants et l'accueil chaleureux mais discret du proprietaire y a certainement contribue.

Right to retract

In accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Code, the holidaymaker does not have the right of withdrawal on his seasonal rental contract concluded at a distance. It can, however, benefit from cancellation conditions set by the owner.

Applicable Civil Code Rules

The contractual relationship between the owner and the holidaymaker is governed by articles 1100 and following of the Civil Code governing the law of obligations and civil liability.
