This is a beautiful 110 square metre, second floor duplex apartment in a small chalet building in a prime residential area of Chamonix.Situated in a converted traditional Chamonix townhouse, this apartment has been lovingly restored and much care has taken right down to the very details, offering guests unique holiday accomodation.
This apartment enjoys a splendid location at the end of a private driveway, just a few minutes walk from the tourist office, shops and restaurants in the centre of Chamonix.
With is high and unique standart of finish, decorative touches and furnishings, La Petite Savoyarde is ideal accomodation for those looking for special holiday accomodation the adventure capital of Chamonix.
The main living area boasts a south facing balcony with views of the Mont Blanc range has two confortable sofas, a CD stereo system. There are unique furnishings such has the coffee table from an antique sleigh and antique cowbells hanging from the rafters wich are sure to delight.
The dining area has a large table and chairs to seat 6 dinner guests with fondue and raclette sets for those who would like to try making the local specialities !
The kitchen is fully equiped with a built in oven/hob, large extractor fan, fridge/freezer, microware, diswasher and a good range of cooking ustensils.The bar made up of solid wood and comes complete with pint glasses, neon sign and bar stools.
Accomodation split over the two levels.
Bedroom 1 is a twin room situated on the ground floor with northely views up to the Brevent hill and a large built in wardrobe.
Bedroom 2 is also a twin on the ground floor with views up towards the Brevent side of the valley and a Velux window to gase at the stars and the Mont Blanc range. There is also a large built in wardrobe.
The family bathroom is situated on this floor and has a bath/shower, wash basin and a separate shower cubicle.There is a separate WC and hand basin in the hallway.
Bedroom 3 is situated on the upper floor and which is also a twin room with antique wooden beds, large Velux, sliding cupboard storage and a table and chairs.
The second bathroom is on this floor, adjacent to the bedroom and has shower, wash basin and WC.
On this upper floor you will also find the mezzanine area wich has a comfortable couch and two chairs, making a cosy reading spot or TV Sat (english chanels....) and DVD player.
There is plenty of storage space in the apartment with a cupboard in the entrance hall and built cupboards in all the bedrooms.
Also a private ski locker is available at the exterior of the apartment as well as a superb cupboard with electrical boot dryer right outside the front door.
In regards to parking, there is space for one car in a lockable garage as well as ample space in front of the chalet compex itself. |
