This all year round accommodation just a stones throw away from the UK is ideal as base for country/beach holidays in the summer and short breaks/shopping weekends in winter.
The glorious sandy beaches and traditional fishing villages of the Opale coast are just 10 minutes drive whilst just a short drive inland you have the town of Ardres with its famous lake and walks and water sports.
There are also many excellent restaurants which dot the area offering a mix between seafood and local traditional french country cuisine at very affordable prices.
The area around the property has numerous sign posted walking routes or alternatively you may wish to organise a poney trek with a local riding school through the forest of Guines renown for its wild deer and boar.
The busy shopping complex and Eurotunnel are only 10 minutes drive and their is easy access by rail or road to Paris.
Great days out can also be had in Boulogne at the National Marine Aquarium, and the Belgium border towns of Ostend and Bruges which is often referred to as the « venice of the North » is within easy driving distance for an extra taste of flemish culture.
