LA BLANCHERIE - HOLIDAY RENTAL IN NORMANDY - Charming farm house in a conservation area. Ideal location for either a relaxing or sporting family holiday. It offers the advantage of having the sea a short walk away, and the tranquillity of being located in beautiful countryside.
The accommodation is South facing and occupies half of the house, the other part being occupied by the owner, with separate access. Heating and wood for traditional open fire are included.
The sea and extensive beaches are 1 kilometre away. The beaches are safe for swimming, ideal for family afternoons on the beach, swimming and fishing, or sailing at the local sailing school. The area is famous for its lamb, mussels, lobsters and sea fishing.
There are many other exciting and interesting places to visit near-by, including the Mont-Saint-Michel, the Normandy landing beaches, the Chanel Islands, the Caen Peace Museum, Bayeux and its tapestry.
There is a supermarket, boulangeries, post office and other shops approximately 15 minutes drive away in Bréhal. There is also a restaurant conveniently located within 5 minutes walk away.
The house is approximately an hour's drive from the ferry ports of Caen/Ouistreham, Cherbourg and St Malo.
Linen is not usually provided, however bed sheets can be obtained for 10 Euros/week/double bed and 8 Euros/week/single bed. |
