Une petite maison de campagne traditionelle, de deux etages, avec plafonds de poutres de bois et planchers de terre-cuite. Il y a trois salles et une salle de bains a rez-de-chaussee, et deux salles a premiere etage, une desquelles ouvre sur une terrasse de 12m2 qui vous offre une vue panoramique des collines et de la mer.
La maison est meublee en style traditionel et assez simple, avec meubles de canne et pin. Il y a tous les amenagements : eau chaude electrique, douche, refrigerateur etc. L'escalier pour monter a 2eme etage est assez raide, (regardez le photo a website).
Polopos est une village tres tranquille et rurale, a peu pres 6 km de la mer directement (10 km sur une route bonne et sinueuse), et a 800m de hauteur. A cause du hauteur il y a une vue spectaculaire au-dessus de la Mediterranee. Des fois quand il fait tout a fait clair en hiver, on peut voir la cote africaine.
Polopos est situe parmi la campagne assez belle et completement naturelle. Il y a des collines enormes, vallees profondes, orangers et chevres. C'est une vrai village d'agriculture, pas du tout touristique ou sophistiquee. Il n'y a pas de terrains de golf, discoteques, etc. Vous pouvez marcher sur les collines a la mer en une heure et demie. Si vous aimez la randonee a pied dans la campagne, on peut voir 4 routes autour de Polopos avec photos en le site www.walkingworld.com (routes 4692-4695). Vous pouvez parler francais, mais parlez lentement !A restored traditional cottage-type house on two floors with wooden beamed ceilings and terracotta tiled floors. It has 3 rooms and a shower room downstairs and two rooms upstairs one of which opens onto a terrace about 4m square, with a table and chairs and a bamboo sunscreen which has a panoramic view of the hills and the sea. The house is quite simply not luxuriously furnished in a traditional style with comfortable cane and pine furniture. The house has all amenities : electric hot water, shower, fridge and gas cooker, and also a wood-burning stove. The steps up to the first floor are quite steep, (see photo on site).
Polopos is a very quiet rural village 10 km from the sea with a spectacular sea view. On some exceptionally clear days in Winter you can see the African coast. Around the village are orange trees, almond trees, vines and goats, which sometimes come through the village. You can walk over the hills down to the sea in about an hour and a half.
