Les Herons is a very tastefully extended and fully renovated old port side fishermans cottage at Port les Monards, 17120. Barzan. On the North-East side of the Gironde Estuary, it is situated within 6 kilometres of the Charente Maritimes most beautiful beaches, these beaches run for over 60 kilometres. The little leisure and working port of Les Monards is a small calm rural village but with two restaurants and waterside picnic tables all nearby.
The house has beds for 7 giving you lots of space in it's 120+ sq mtrs. The three large bedrooms (inc 1 mezzanine), lounge, dining room and gardens all offer lots of space and light airy accomodation.
There's lots to visit in the area as well as the coast and fabulous beaches including Talmont, La Fa, Cognac, Bordeaux, Pons, La Rochelle, Iles de Re, Oleron, dames and more.
Includes all water, electric, gas, linen, towels for the shower, beach, hand and tea as well as wood for a roaring fire!!
