This beautiful house was fully renovated in 2001.It is set well back from the road behind iron gates. The clever construction of a villa style central house to connect two original stone buildings has created a large farmhouse with the benefit of new fittings and central heating within the house but with a traditional stone exterior. The main kitchen has a Lacanche double oven and the pool house has a Smeg double oven.Both kitchens have American style fridges with icemakers. Three of the bathrooms have been renewed in the last 2 years and are all of a good standard. In the main house there is a mixture of beds, two four poster bedrooms,a second double bedroom in the pool house,a room with 2 singles and a set of bunk beds, the antique bed room with 2x 120cm beds, a single room and downstairs a single/double room with a click-clack bed and the playroom which leads to the pool. This room also has convertible sofas suitable for 1/2 persons. The bedroom within the pool house has a double bed and a mezzanine with 2 single beds. This room has an en-suite shower with body jets. There is every amenity possible for children including, toys, games, videos etc. There are 3 rooms with TV/video and/or DVD and a large selection of English language reading books, videos and DVDs. The house is set within 15 acres of its own land with views over farmland. The immediate environs of the property are laid to lawns and terraces with shade provided by Oak trees and there is a large swimming pool with an automatic pool cover. There are swings and slides and a large trampoline with safety net. There are also cricket nets and a football goal. The owners have 3 ponies and it is possible to ride by arrangement with the owners. Riding is undertaken at the clients own risk. We have facilities for babies including cots buggies highchairs etc- you only need to bring the baby! Bed linen and towels need to be paid for at the time of arrival at the house. Bed linen and house towels cost 12 euros per person per week. Pool towels are 2 euros. There is a deposit taken against damage and excessive use of services which will be returned at the end of the stay. There is a caretaker who cleans the pool and will be available to assist you. Additional help with housework and cooking are available by arrangement to make your stay as comfortable.
