Ce chalet douillet en bois massif composé de 5 pièces a été rénové à partir d’un grenier typique de la région attenant à une grande ferme savoyarde(seules les façades ont été conservées). Il est chaleureux et très bien équipé pour une ou plusieurs familles avec enfants de tous âges (10 personnes maximum).
Situé à La Chapelle d’Abondance (Haute Savoie) à 4 km de Châtel, 35 km du lac Léman et de Thonon les bains à1020 m d’altitude, il est très bien situé pour des vacances actives ou tranquilles au coeur du domaine des portes du soleil (Alpes du Nord, France/Suisse, liaison avec Châtel, Avoriaz, 650 Km de pistes).
Sa situation offre un point de départ idéal pour des excursions vers la Suisse et l'Italie.
Il offre une belle vue sur les Dents du midi: Ce chalet est situé dans le hameau « La Panthiaz », très calme, il desservi par une petite route (à 200 m de la D22 Thonon-Châtel)

Genève (1 heure), Montreux-festival de jazz (1 heure), Martigny-Suisse (3/4 h) – Fondation Pierre Gianadda (expositions)

Les pistes de ski alpin (domaine de Braitaz, liaison Torgon-Valais puis Super Châtel) et de ski de fond sont à environ 400 mètres du chalet.

Due to its great location the chalet offers great accommodation in winter and summer for active holidays or relaxation time in the heart of the mountains.

The many lifts allow direct access to the “Portes du Soleil”. Downhill ski slopes (Braitaz domain, link between Torgon and Valais, then Super Châtel) and cross-country slopes are only about 400m/437yd from the chalet.
Next to Evian-les-Bains, Lake Leman and the Swiss border, the chalet is an ideal point of departure for excursions to Switzerland and Italy.
Geneva (1 hour), Montreux Jazz Festival (1 hour), Martigny, Switzerland (45 mn) – Pierre Gianadda Foundation (exhibitions).

The chalet is equipped for 10 people.

Conditions and rates


Rental prices include water, electricity and heating.
Tourism tax is included in the price.
Available from Saturday 2 pm to the next Saturday 9 am.
25 % deposit at the time of reservation confirmation. Balance payment due two weeks before arrival with a 320€ security deposit cheque refundable within 10 days if no damage is noticed either during the tenancy visit inspection upon departure and/or by the next tenants (hidden damage).


Upon arrival, and after getting the house keys, the tenant must make a inventory/condition of the unit checklist to ensure that no item is missing or damaged: the complete checklist is available in the chalet.

Upon leaving a tenancy visit inspection will be run in the presence of a designated person.

Household linen is not provided: do not forget to bring towels and bed linen, pillow cases and your hairdryer.

Mandatory insurance:
We need you to send us a certificate of your insurance policy stating your renter’s liability coverage during your stay in the chalet.

To make a reservation:
Return the reservation form by e-mail with your address and phone number for us to set up the rental contract and send a cheque corresponding to 25% of the rental price to Mr Serge DOUARD. Reservation is final upon receiving this 25% deposit.
